Can't blame the Founding Fathers for ~~someone else~~ misunderstanding what they wrote. That's how I read it.

» RLSharp - Question

In response to Question posted by BrianTubbs:

Sorry it took a while to get back to you on this...having personal issues that keep drawing my time. As for the Founding Father thing, my point was that you can't blame the Founding Fathers for misunderstandings that we have today about the Constitution. Similarly, you can't blame feminist philosophers for the fact that feminism is misunderstood. Most of them did not write that women should hate men or be superior or whatever else is associated with feminism. Instead, they are arguing for difference, that something about a woman's mind (or overall attitude toward life) is different from that found in men. Whether that is right or wrong is a separate discussion, but it's an interesting question.

Sorry I wasn't clearer about the Founding Fathers thing.

"...that something about a woman's mind (or overall attitude toward life) is different from that found in men."
.
That seems so obvious to me. I notice that most women are unaware of that as well as almost all men. I had a conversation with my grandson about that the other day when I drove him home from college for long week end break. It is a perspective type thing to me. While men are intrusive and seeking, women are more contained and enveloping of their environment.

While the feminine and masculine mind may differ, the fact is...they can all arrive the same conclusions eventually. It may be in the journey, not the destination?

In response to Question posted by spiritalk:

There's something to the idea of the methods used, actually. My wife and I, for example, agree on a great many things. But we often reach the conclusions in very different ways. Again, I don't know about the whole Men are from Mars theory...but I can say, anecdotally, that a lot of women think differently from men. It can lead to frustration if you let it...but you don't have to let it.

While the brain may be creative...sometimes I wish I was more creative on the computer! A friend of mine included the cutest cartoon about the creative abilities in some of our work.
