In response to The Problems posted by pink101:
The history of the suffragettes (1840s) is the need to free woman from abuse and controlling marriages where they had no rights either socially or legally. They worked with the Temperance leagues as well in this regard.

Then the 60s resurgence of woman's rights took on the corporate world. (I am not so sure this was any bargain!) and it was intended for the freedom of everyone...not just females. There was a reduction of the expectations of roles and this freed up males to express their famililial roles so much more.

Homosexuals are born. So it might be a good research to see what happened when the change from female to male took place.

Creativity might be that fluidity.
